Karachi experienced a third mild earthquake on Monday morning. According to the Seismological Monitoring Centre, a magnitude 3.2 earthquake was recorded in the Landhi and Malir areas.
The epicentre was near Quaidabad, and the depth measured 10 kilometres.
Residents from Landhi and Malir reported feeling the tremors at approximately 10:25 am. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage.
On Sunday, two mild earthquakes had already been recorded in Karachi, which raised concern among the public about the ongoing seismic activity.
Late Sunday night, tremors were felt in several neighbourhoods, including Majeed Colony, Sherpao, Quaidabad, Landhi and Malir.
During the incident, the call to prayer was heard echoing through mosques.
CCTV footage from Quaidabad captured the moment when the tremors occurred. The Seismological Center confirmed that the quake was recorded at 1:06 am with a magnitude of 3.2.
Its epicentre was near Gadap Town, and it had a depth of 12 kilometres.
No loss of life or damage to buildings has been reported in connection with this incident.
