Interesting Facts About Our Pakistani Celebrities
From secret talents to surprising struggles and so much more, hereโs the side of Pakistani stars you rarely get to see.
1. Mahira Khanย
Mahira Khan once revealed that her future plans are of becoming a director. Yes, our superstar wants to give us more than feral face card and outstanding acting. In fact, it is said that she moved to California at 17 to study filmmaking at the University of Southern California but later came back to Pakistan without completing her degree.
This brings us to the second fact that our beloved actress is a drop-out and she is not ashamed to own up to it.
Also, did you know that Mahira Khan once revealed how the viral white dress picture with Ranbir Kapoor took a huge toll on her mental health? If you don’t know about this, then you are living under a rock.
The world was shaken when Mahira was seen in a white backless dress smoking with Ranbir in a foreign country. What’s saddening here is that no one questioned Ranbir, and he faced no backlash, while Mahira thought her career would be over. Thank God, it wasn’t the case, and just recently, Mahira blessed us with her latest film, “Love Guru”.

2. Atif Aslamย
Atif Aslam, the voice behind “Tera Hone Laga Hoon” and “Jeene Laga Hoon,” once had his eyes on Pakistanโs cricket team. He was a fast bowler and even got selected for the Pakistan Under-19 team, but didn’t go ahead as his parents wanted him to become a doctor.
The singer wanted to represent his nation with cricket on international grounds, and music was just a side hobby. Little did he know back then that he would still be able to represent his nation and become the pride of Pakistan more than some cricketers ever could.
Also, now that we are talking about becoming the pride of Pakistan, did you know that Atif Aslam has also been rewarded by Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (medal of distinction), the fourth-highest civilian honour from the Pakistani government in 2008. This happened when the singer was just 25, hence making him the youngest civilian to ever get this award.

He also associated his early success to female actresses like Nadia Jamal and Sania Saeed who believed in him when no one did and decided to work with him on multiple projects.
Talking about women in Humayun’s life, did you know our veteran actor had a first love before his wife, whom he still seems to admire and talk about.
In an interview, he mentioned that he no longer loved the woman he was talking about because she betrayed him, he simultaneously also said that she was “very cute” and had “fantastic energy”.
Here are his own words about this old flame of love, โShe was wild, she wanted to go to parties, go to the beach. She wanted to drive but did not know how to, so I would teach her. She had a different energy that I really likedโฆ and she would pull me out [of my shyness].” Let’s just ignore how detailed of an explanation this seems.
