Netflix has finally dropped the full trailer for Squid Game Season 3, giving fans a peek into the final part of the global hit series. Released on May 5, the trailer sets up intense new games, emotional moments and big confrontations ahead of the June premiere.
The trailer starts with players wheeling a black coffin into the dormitory. Inside lies Seong Gi-hun, who suddenly wakes up. He’s handcuffed and confused, clearly signalling his major role in the next phase of the deadly competition.
One of the new games is introduced through a giant gumball machine filled with red and blue balls. Players turn a dial to draw a colour. The focus then shifts to Geum-ja and her son Yong-sik, who sadly draw different colours. This puts them on opposite teams and hints at the emotional strain to come.

Next, the teaser shows players receiving boxes with a line of symbols — circle, triangle, and square. These might serve as hints for the upcoming challenge.
The trailer also highlights masked VIPs sitting at a banquet table. In another scene, Guard 11 quietly moves through air vents, suggesting secret missions or escape attempts. Meanwhile, Detective Hwang Jun-ho appears again, this time holding a gun. His return points to a possible long-awaited clash with the mysterious Front Man.
At the end of the trailer, Player 222 cries as the sound of a baby crying plays in the background. This powerful moment leaves viewers questioning what heartbreak and twists lie ahead.
Squid Game Season 3 will release on Netflix on June 27, 2025.
