The video which took over the social media by storm showed Rahat Fateh Ali Khan physically abusing and hitting his house help. Merely for displacing his liquor bottle. However, in a turn of events the singer later posted a video apologising to his fans and the house help for hitting him and eventually getting away with it.
The infamous controversy left a bad taste. Meanwhile, many fans were harrowed to see the act unfolding right in front of their eyes. Hence, his recent achievement has led people to question the credibility of this prestigious accolade.
