An SHO is changing the perception of policemen in our country today (which is much needed). Meet Khurram Shahzad who helps poverty-stricken children and families as his mission.

SHO Khurram Shahzad is relatively active on Twitter and for a good reason. He uses the platform to do social work and make sure that what he sees reaches a larger audience on Twitter. His profile is full of him finding the needy, the underprivileged and the economically challenged in order to help alleviate their plight.
From The Streets To School
A 7-year-old boy, Ameer Ali, used to sell miswak at a petrol pump in Sheikhupura housing colony. At this tender age, he was used to the hustle and bustle of cars passing by, the sweltering heat from which there was no shade and the apathy of people. His life changed when he met Khurram Shahzad.
Shahzad gave him a new life by enrolling him in a school, getting him a uniform and new books. His belief is that poverty is a curse and on his own, this boy might grow up on the streets without any education. He felt it was his duty to help Ameer Ali to the best of his ability and so, he did.

Khurram Shahzad also takes Ameer out for lunches and meetings. What particularly melts our heart is the change you can see on Ameer Ali’s face since then and now. He looks happy and relaxed!
