Shehzad Roy is known to be someone who sings timeless songs, and his music videos are always relevant. Even though his songs have discussed domestic issues and political scenarios in the past, his latest song aims at Indian Prime Minister Modi, who faces global criticism for his policies and reactions against the Indian farmers.


Shehzad Roy revealed a snippet from the song’s music video while sharing the link of the full video link from his Youtube.

At one point in the music video titled, “Kon Kiska Aadmi Hai,” Shehzad Roy is commenting on those who are working on creating divisions while also at one end using Modi and Abhinandan (who are played by some actors) while referring to the infamous incident of Pakistan Army shooting down his aircraft and served him tea.

Fans React To The Comeback Made By Shehzad Roy

Soon after the song was released, Twitteratis celebrated the comeback of Shehzad Roy, who had been absent for a brief period of time from the Pakistani music scene.

While someone pointed out how the guitars were not plugged in the music video.

Shehzad Roy, even though he was not releasing songs for quite some time. He was still working off the spotlight for Pakistan’s welfare and for specific social issues that he considers dear to him. He was also appointed as the United Nations Goodwill Ambassador back in 2017.

Shehzad Roy’s song “Laga Reh” was a massive hit for providing a unique insight into Pakistan’s political scene. Even though the song was released more than a decade ago, it is still an accurate commentary and description of Pakistan’s ethical and political landscape.

Shehzad Roy and his songs hold a dear memory in every millennial’s heart. When the local music industry was thriving, Shehzad Roy, Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar were the front-line artists who were known to represent the true essence of Pakistani music in the 2000s. 

Let’s hope the Pakistani music industry returns to its days of glory and starts coming up with genuine content like it used to.
