A recent report was released by Google which shed light on the most googled Pakistani for the year 2017. Following that, Wikipedia has now announced the most searched Pakistanis on the search engine throughout 2017.
The list includes Pakistani personalities such as Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai, actress Mahira Khan, superstar Fawad Khan and politician Imran Khan. The report of the Wikimedia Foundation comprises of searches between January 1, 2017 to December 20th, 2017.

Malala Yousafzai

The Nobel Laureate was in the news after she began studying at Oxford University. She was further in the news due to the controversy of her being seen in jeans.

The Raees and Verna actress has a total of over 2 million views on her Wiki page after the release of her Bollywood and Pakistani movie.

Mohammad Ali Jinnah

The uproar after Sahir Lodhi had interrupted a participant on his show who was speaking about Jinnah caused people to visit the late founder of the nation’s page around 1.3 million times.

Saba Qamar

The Pakistani diva shot to number four on the search list after her recent Bollywood release in 2017, Hindi Medium which was a blockbuster across the globe. Her page had views of 910,102.

Imran Khan

Cricketer turned politician, Chairman of PTI is always in the news for one thing or the other, but the Ayesha Gulalai controversy and court trials put him in the spotlight consecutively over the year. His page on wiki had 884,206 views.

Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Shariff has been searched on Wiki a total of 867,548 times due to the ongoing trials he was facing.
