According to an excerpt published by People, Britney Spears expressed her admiration for Sam Asghari in her book, stating, “I have a deep respect for his stability. I cherish the fact that he abstains from alcohol. He truly is a blessing.”
In her memoir, Britney Spears recounts her initial meeting with Asghari. Who played her love interest in the “Slumber Party” music video.
She wrote, “The moment I laid eyes on Hesam Asghari on the set of my ‘Slumber Party’ video, I knew I wanted him to be a part of my life right away. I was instantly captivated. The connection between us at the start was electrifying. We couldn’t resist each other, and he affectionately called me his lioness.”
It could be unexpected to some that Britney Spears expressed such praise for Asghari in her memoir. Especially considering their separation before the memoir’s release. He filed for divorce during the summer, just 14 months into their marriage. Citing “irreconcilable differences,” as documented in court records.
