The internet is currently ablaze with swirling speculations of third marriage of Pakistani host Iqrar ul Hassan, flooding with images of his alleged new love interest.
According to unconfirmed reports, Iqrar ul Hassan has taken the matrimonial plunge once again, this time with Aroosa Khan, a fellow news anchor currently employed by SA Digital, a platform run by Iqrar himself.
If the rumours hold true, Aroosa belongs to Okara and has been Iqrar’s acquaintance for a long time.
Interestingly, Aroosa Khan maintains an Instagram following that includes Iqrar’s first wife, Qurutulain Iqrar, and has even been seen engaging with members of her family.
What might come as a surprise to many is that Farah Iqrar, Iqrar’s second wife, has openly endorsed the concept of multiple marriages in a recent interview.
Farah said that she has always held that a man is permitted to have four wives in accordance with Islam and Pakistani law and that she will have no problem if he marries again.
His first wife, Qurutulain, too, did not object to Iqrar’s first marriage.
Iqrar ul Hassan has yet to confirm or deny the reports regarding his purported union with Aroosa Khan.
Iqrar’s marital journey has seen its share of milestones. His first marriage was to Qurutulain Iqrar in the year 2006, and the couple has a son named Pehlaaj Hassan. Qurutulain started as a news anchor and later switched to teaching.
Iqrar ul Hassan’s second marriage took place in 2012 when he wed Farah Iqrar. The news of this marriage remained hidden from the public eye for five years, with Iqrar later clarifying that he had not concealed anything, and both his family and close friends were aware of his second marriage.
