Former Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ramiz Raja, has expressed gratitude to the fans for their well wishes as he prepares to make a return to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) commentary box.

His announcement has sparked excitement among cricket enthusiasts eager to hear his insightful analysis and charismatic voice during the upcoming tournament.

Ramiz Raja revealed on his official X account that he will be joining the PSL 9 commentary team for the final leg of the tournament, commencing on February 28 in Karachi and Rawalpindi.

Despite prior commitments with the Bangladesh Premier League, Raja was eager to accept the invitation from PSL management to reunite with fans and contribute his expertise to the cricketing extravaganza.

Their partnership added a traditional flavour to PSL broadcasts, enriching the viewer experience with insightful commentary and memorable anecdotes.

Raja’s illustrious career spans from his days as a cricketer to his tenure as PCB chairman, from September 2021 to December 2022, during which Pakistan’s T20I team attained the top spot in the world rankings and reached the final of the 2022 T20I World Cup against England.
