The second BIZNET Diversity and Inclusion Recognition Awards ceremony was recently conducted at the President’s House in Islamabad on March 31, 2023, to honor people and organizations that have made noteworthy contributions to fostering a more inclusive and equitable society.

Jazz CEO Aamir Ibrahim received the Excellence Award from President Dr. Arif Alvi, who also praised Jazz for its many DEI initiatives, notably the measures to empower women through digital platforms.

Addressing the event, President Alvi emphasized the urgent need for the financial inclusion of women in order to convert 50% of the country’s population into a useful labor force. He claimed that assisting women with the promotion of their fledgling businesses through information technology was the quickest path to their empowerment.

The BIZNET2023 awards, whose topic this year was “Supporting Diversity, Inclusion, and Pakistan Startups,” drew participants from all spheres of society. In collaboration with numerous other business organizations and national industry experts, Changing Hub and Women Business Network arranged the awards.

The organizers’ ambitious ambition to increase the number of women working in the nation received praise from Pakistan’s president. He was grateful for the efforts made by organizations to take the necessary actions to create a positive impact.
