TCL, Pakistan’s No.1 LED TV Brand, has launched their most anticipated anthem for PSL 8, “Zalmi Raalal,” in partnership with Peshawar Zalmi. “Zalmi Raalal,” directed by Hassan Dawar himself, is a star-studded, action-packed mash-up of music, fashion, and sports, the three primary passions of Peshawar Zalmi. The music video features cricket’s top superstars Darren Sammy and Babar Azam, as well as Pakistan’s biggest celebs Mahira Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi, and was produced by Naughty Boy, who has worked in the worldwide music industry with the likes of Beyoncé, Wiz Khalifa, and Sam Smith. “Zalmi Raalal,” Peshawar Zalmi’s official hymn for 2023, is an ode to passion, a story about the beauty and power of the KP region and its people. Since its release, the anthem has received over one million views across all online channels, and the numbers are rapidly increasing.
The star-studded and narrative-driven hymn prominently features Zalmi ambassadors and sportsmen. The original teasers, which featured Hamza Ali Abbasi riding a horse and Mahira Khan strolling as Zalmi ambassadors, further added to the excitement around the anthem. The anthem also features Peshawar Zalmi’s leading players, including Babar Azam, Muhammad Haris, Saim Ayub, Arshad Iqbal, Salman Irshad, Khurram Shahzad, Usman Qadir, Sufiyan Muqeem, and last but not least, Peshawar Zalmi’s head coach Darren Sammy, who is also an honorary Pakistani and well-liked by all Pakistanis. The beauty and diversity of Peshawar Zalmi’s hymn are further fueled by the fact that it produces harmonic harmony between Pashto, Urdu, and English, making the entire anthem a work of art.
