A doctor in Peshawar’s Hospital fulfilled a wish of his 71-year-old COVID-19 patient. The doctor brought his patient’s birthday cake to the intensive care unit to celebrate his big day!

The tweet featuring a short clip from the ICU is making rounds on social media as people fill their hearts with the heartwarming sight during these uncertain times.

A doctor at a hospital in Peshawar brought a cake to the ICU on the request of 71 years old corona patient to celebrate his birthday and bring a smile on his face.

The coronavirus cases have been increasing at an alarming rate in the country. There are a total of 108,317 cases of the virus, while 2,172 people have died during the ongoing pandemic.

According to Worldmeter.info, there are 7,201,567 coronavirus cases in the world, while 408,794 have died due to the virus. Doctors around the world have been showing kindness to patients of COVID-19 in ICU’s as it is not sure if the patient will survive or not.

In Wuhan, where the virus is originally from, a doctor took his 87-year-old patient out for sunset to enjoy together.

Wuhan Uni hospital. A twenty-something doctor from Shanghai was taking an 87-year-old patient who’d been hospitalized for a month to make a CT scan. He asked if he wanted to stop to watch the sunset. He said yes. They enjoyed the moment together.

Medical teams at the Hospital, del Mar in Barcelona, Spain have been photographed wheeling people to the beach. The activity is now a part of a program designed to humanize intensive care units.
