It wouldn’t be a new thing to say that celebrities have the power to influence people and our stars are now trying to help the nation to get rid of dowry.
Recently, the Janaan actor Ali Rehman Khan spoke out on the issue in a unique way and the internet could not stop lauding his act.
The actor appeared in Geo Pakistan show where he explained that we should not encourage the evil social practice of our society.
However, two more Pakistani actors, Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain, have recently joined Ali Rahman and started a campaign against dowry in collaboration with UN Women Pakistan.
Both of the actors took to their Instagram account and shared their pictures with the hashtag #StopJahezkhori.

We hope that the efforts of our actors do not go in vain and people start to realize how the demand of dowry affects the women who fall victim to this gruesome mindset.
