Sir Syed Express Service gets Suspended by Pakistan Railway

Passengers travelling between Karachi and Lahore received disappointing news. The Sir Syed Express service will officially be suspended starting tomorrow. The authorities have issued a formal notification to announce the service closure.

Ras Logistics managed the Sir Syed Express on the Karachi-Rawalpindi route. The train resumed service in September last year through a public-private partnership.

The train featured one AC sleeper, three AC business coaches, one AC standard coach, eight economy coaches and a dining car. Passengers enjoyed food services, clean water, free Wi-Fi and the option to pay for tickets via mobile apps.
