Authorities in Kuwait have confirmed the Eidul Adha 2025 holiday schedule after the sighting of the Dhul Qidah moon. As the 11th month of the Islamic calendar comes to a close, Dhul Hijjah will begin next, marking the Hajj pilgrimage and Eidul Adha celebrations.
The Council Ministers in Kuwait have declared a public holiday from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8. These days coincide with the Day of Arafah and the Eidul Adha festivities. The country will also observe a rest day on Monday, June 9, and resume work on Tuesday, June 10.
Astronomers expect to sight the crescent moon of Dhul Hijjah on May 27. If that happens, May 28 will be the first day of Dhul Hijjah in Kuwait. This would place the Day of Arafah on June 5 and Eidul Adha on June 6.
