Netflix Shows & Movies To Look Forward To In December 2022

The year is almost done, if you can believe it! The list of new Netflix movies and series arriving before the end of 2022 has reached its last month, but that doesn’t mean it will slow down. If anything, it’s one of 2022’s busiest months.

With so many blockbuster-caliber original films coming out in December, there will be even more new Netflix material to look forward to on the movie side of things. No matter what time of the month it is, especially over the Christmas break, you won’t run out of movies to watch.

  1. Pinocchio

With the release of Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio on Netflix on December 9, the Academy Award-winning director offers a fresh perspective on the beloved Pinocchio story. Ewan McGregor, Cate Blanchett, Finn Wolfhard, and other voice actors are included in the update, which takes the magical wooden child on a “enchanted odyssey.”

  1. Glass Onion: Knives Out 2

Knives Out 2 finally premieres on Netflix with a brand-new mystery playing out in Glass Onion. Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista are among the actors in the cast. On Nov. 23 Glass Onion opens in cinemas for one week before being available on Netflix on Dec. 23.

  1. Firefly lane season 2 part 1

Firefly Lane’s second season finally premieres on December 2 after almost two years of anticipation from fans. The second season, which will be split into two parts, will also be the final season, as Netflix has already confirmed. The first 16 episodes will be released in December, and the remaining 12 will follow the following year. Watch the last act of Kate and Tully!

  1. The Recruit

To all the  Boys I’ve Loved before star Noah Centineo’s return to Netflix in The Recruit, a new original series about the CIA lawyer Owen Hendricks (Centineo) who gets caught up in peril when a former asset attempts to expose the organization. The eight-episode journey of the new series, which sounds like a true nail-biter, premieres on December 16.

  1. Emily in Paris season 3

She is back! With the release of Emily in Paris season 3 on Netflix on December 21, our favorite girl abroad makes her yearly comeback. Since we last left Emily, she had to make the difficult decision of staying in Paris or leaving to deal with her complicated love life. A year has passed since then. When the upcoming season (the first of a two-season order) debuts just before Christmas, find out what she decides to do.

  1. Lady Chatterley’s Lover

Lady Chatterley, played by Emma Corrin in the D. H. Lawrence adaptation Lady Chatterley’s Lover, had an affair with Oliver Mellors (Jack O’Connell). She is then faced with the choice of staying with her husband or leaving him for her lover. On the first Friday in December, see the movie’s premiere to see the epic love story come to life.
