Morning shows are one of the top watched programs across Pakistan and other countries where transmissions are carried out.
With some of the highest grossing TRP’s, morning shows in our nation, however, are quite different from what you would normally see on channels around the world.
Instead of regular talk shows, the content aired on these daily programs include wedding functions, dance programs, makeup and beauty contests!
Nothing substantial nor intellectual seems to be aired except for dancing and playing nonsensical games.
It is disturbing to see women dolled up in bridal makeup, clad in bright fancy wedding outfits early in the morning at 9 a.m.
Moreover, Pakistani celebrity couples even get married on live television all over again, the wedding functions then go on for an entire week sometimes!
And who can forget the infamous Massi Number 1 competition that took place last year in a leading morning show?
Apart from the normal criticism coming from the general public, finally a veteran actor Noman Aijaz has spoken up on the morning shows aired on TV.

Have you seen the morning shows lately? The way to conduct a proper show is lost on us! There is no consistency and neither is there any improvement.
