NADRA Cuts Wait Time For Urgent ID Card Requests

Published on

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a much-needed relief for individuals tired of enduring long queues for their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs). In a recent development, NADRA has significantly reduced the delivery period for ID cards processed under urgent requests, all without any additional charges.

Previously standing at 23 days, the delivery period for Urgent Identity Cards has now been streamlined to just 15 days, making the process more efficient and convenient for applicants. NADRA officials have urged individuals to take advantage of this expedited service by submitting urgent applications at any NADRA office.

Furthermore, NADRA recently announced revised fees for various ID card categories, with normal ID cards priced at Rs750, urgent ID cards at Rs1500, and executive ID cards at Rs2500. These changes aim to streamline the ID card issuance process and enhance service delivery for the public.
