Actor and host Nadia Khan has been in the industry for decades. While she rose to fame with her morning show on Geo TV Nadia is known to be the first person who introduced the concept of morning shows in Pakistan. Later every drama channel adapted that concept and the morning shows we have today are the result of years of work. However, a recent drama ‘Jannat se Agay’ shares the dirty details behind these morning shows.
In a TV show, Nadia had the chance to share her thoughts on the latest drama serial. Needless to say, the host was not happy with the way the drama portrayed morning shows. While talking about her experience with the first two episodes Nadia mentioned,
“You have no idea how I watched the episode.” Said Nadia Khan.
“I felt so uncomfortable and I felt like someone is poking me with needles. These are my feelings and I have no control over them. I hated it.”

“I didn’t like it. I feel offended. This is my profession, I created the concept as some people say that I’m the pioneer of morning shows and I’m very thankful for that. We have done such great things and if someone comes up and says bad things about that work, projects it so negatively then anyone is bound to get hurt.”
Talking about her experience with the series she mentioned that she didn’t even know the storyline of the drama.
“Wahaj asked me to watch the show. I told him that I would watch it but later I forgot. I watched the drama only after I got to know about aour assignment for today’s episode.”
While talking about the difference between fiction and reality, Nadia mentioned that some of the things portrayed in the drama have happened in the shows. However, they choose to show only negative elements and the good stuff which has happened was nowhere to be found.
