The thunder-packed Mountain Dew brand has always brought adrenaline pumping activities to Pakistan!
Known to be the go-to drink for every hard-core extreme sports fanatic, the brand has introduced concepts like Moto Extreme, the biggest stunt show across the country, receiving massive love and appreciation across the nation.
Now, the trademark has once again brought a whole new level of X-treme! This time, it’s for all the gamers out there along with leading gaming giant ESL!
Launching its first gaming platform called, Mountain Dew Gamer’s Arena, top gamers from Pakistan will compete against each other in CS:GO and Dota 2 for the title of best gaming team in the country.
The brand has invited all gamers to try their luck to win a cash pool of a whopping Rs 1 million and a super cool trophy!
A grand star-studded event was held to officially launch the 3-month competition (the contest is valid during 3rd October – 31st December) with stars like Feroze Khan, Mira Sethi, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Imran Abbas, Hareem Farooq and Cybil Chaudhry gracing the red carpet.
According to Salman Butt, Marketing Director of PepsiCo, the scope and love for gaming in Pakistan has immense potential, at par and sometimes even more so when compared internationally.
Previously, gaming competitions were restricted to universities or local community levels. Now Mountain Dew and ESL, both wish to mark the start of something new.

How to Register for Mountain Dew Gamer’s Arena
Here are the steps to register for the competition:
- Go to the website – store.steampowered.com
- Click on login
- Click on Join Steam
- Fill details in the form which opens on the screen. All fields are mandatory.
- Create your account as per instructions are given.
- You would receive a mail on the registered e-mail ID used to create this Steam Account.
How to Download & Play the PC Game(s)
Here are the steps to download the games for the Mountain Dew Gamer’s Arena competition:
- Go to the website – store.steampowered.com
- Click on install Steam and allow the download of Steam.exe to complete
- Double click on Steam.exe to install Steam
- Double click on the Steam Desktop icon
- Enter the Username & Password and click on Enter
- You will receive a Steam Guard Code to enter in the dialogue box that appears on the screen
- Use that code to register on dewarena.pk to enter the Contest
