Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan recently met with Malaysia’s PM Mahathir Bin Mohamad and the First Lady.

Both parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of Partial Visa Abolishment Agreement (PVAA) i.e to partially abolish the requirement for the visa  

This is being done to reinforce positive momentum in the bilateral relationship of the two nations by broadening contact at the official level.

The agreement was signed by Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Malaysian Home Minister Tan Sri Dato Haji Muhyiddin in the presence of Prime  Minister Imran Khan and Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad.

There were several MoUs signed to further strengthen bilateral relationships and enhance mutual cooperation.

The Pakistani PM was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar and numerous other members of his cabinet.

Imran Khan also held a joint press conference with the Malaysian PM, seeking his guidance in curbing corruption which he believes is the top priority of both nations.
