The students of LUMS have always been known for their creative and innovative events. With almost every event the students organize, the university makes headlines. Recently, LUMS has taken the spotlight once again, when their students hosted a mock shaadi. These are some Tiktok videos of the students that hosted the mock shaadi. Here have a look.

All the traditional events that would usually take place at a real shaadi like the dholki, mehendi, baarat, ruskhsati, and valima took place. Students were assigned different roles and characters. The bride and the bridegroom were students Mahnoor and Taimoor. Other students played characters like the in-laws, the qazi sahab, the typical stern brown dad, etc. The LUMS student really thought of “go big or go home” when organizing and hosting the mock shaadi which they called “Batch Shaadi of 2023”. This tells us that this is an annual LUMS tradition.
