According to Pakistan’s official Public holiday calendar 2019, 1st May will be a public holiday on the account of Labors Day.
This implies that all schools, institutions and public organizations would remain closed.
This year, 1st May 2019 will fall on Wednesday.
Labor Day, also referred to as May Day is celebrated on May 1st every year. It is marked by rallies, marches, processions, labor/worker union sessions, and organized street demonstrations to appreciate the efforts of those who work day and night to earn bread.
