According to Forbes, Hollywood star, Kristen Stewart will be playing the role of iconic Princess Diana in filmmaker Pablo Larrain’s upcoming venture, ‘Spencer.’
What is the storyline of the film?
The film covers three days in the life of Princess Diana in the ’90s when she decided her marriage with Prince Charles was not working out. The setting takes place in the House of Windsor in their Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England, during her final Christmas holidays.
It is reported that Steven Knight-script is an excellent deal for the virtual Cannes Market. The production of the film is all set to take place at the beginning of 2021.
Overlooking the financial plans for the production of the film, CAA Media has sealed the deal. Alongside Endeavor Content, it will also be representing the United States distribution rights. However, international rights are not covered as yet. FilmNation has taken the responsibility of introducing the film to foreign buyers at the upcoming Cannes market.
The audiences well recognize Kristan Stewart for the role of ‘Bella’ in Twilight Films. Her notable performances include Jodie Foster in Panic Room and Clouds of Sils Maria, Amazon Studios’ Seberg and Sony’s Charlie’s Angels, directed by Elizabeth Banks.
