According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Karachi will remain hot and humid for the next 3 days. Light rain or isolated dust-thunderstorms may develop on the outskirts of the city.
On Tuesday, May 6, Karachi saw daytime temperatures between 37 and 39°C, while early morning temperatures dropped to around 27.5°C. Morning humidity measured 49%, and it may rise to between 45% and 55% by evening. Winds will be northeast during the day, then southeast or southerly by evening.
Wednesday, May 7, should be similar, with slightly cooler temperatures, but it will still be hot and humid. Daytime max temps could be 36 to 38°C, but the minimum overnight is likely 27 to 29°C or higher. Humidity will peak at 70 to 80% early in the morning, dropping to 50 to 60% by evening, with winds from a south or south-west direction.

Thursday, May 8, should see the same pattern. Daily highs will still be 35 to 37°C, with lows between 27 to 29°C. Morning humidity forecast is 70% to 80%, and will go to 50 to 60% by evening. Winds will stay from the south or southwest all day.
Besides Karachi, nearby districts—Jamshoro, Tharparkar, Badin, Thatta, and Sujawal—may also get light rain or isolated dust-thunderstorms today. These conditions will be brief and limited to small areas.
At the same time, medical experts warn about a rise in kidney infections in Karachi due to heat and dehydration. Hospitals are treating more patients with common symptoms. These include lower back pain on both sides, painful urination, reduced urine output, blood or pus in the urine, and fever. These are clear signs of kidney infections.
Doctors are urging people to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight, and remain indoors unless necessary.
