Indian Student Paraglides to Exam to Beat Traffic

A student in Maharashtra’s Satara district found an innovative solution to beat heavy traffic as he paraglided to his exam centre. The student, Samarth Mahangade, from Pasarani village in Wai taluka, has become a social media sensation after a video showed him flying through the sky with his college bag.

Samarth was in Panchgani for personal work but realised he had only 15-20 minutes to reach his exam venue. He knew he would get stuck in massive traffic on the Pasarani Ghat section of the Wai-Panchgani road, so he opted for this unconventional transportation.

Adventure sports expert Govind Yewale from GP Adventures in Panchgani stepped in to help Samarth fly over the congested region with his team. The student wore all the necessary paragliding gear and successfully landed near his college.

The incident took place in Satara, which is located in western Maharashtra and is known for its popular paragliding locations. The video of Samarth’s unique journey was shared by the Instagram account Insta_satara and quickly went viral on social media.
