Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his crew for revealing India’s false propaganda on an international platform during a meeting on Tuesday in Islamabad. He lauded their diplomatic efforts undertaken on travels to Europe and the US.
Shehbaz welcomed a dinner in their honour and reported the delegation overseas. He stated that the delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto represented Pakistan with “great national zeal” and came back “victorious.” He said their efforts are now being recognised all over the world.
The PM commended other Committee Members Sherry Rehman, Dr. Musadik Malik, Hina Rabbani Khar, Senator Bushra Anjum Butt, Senator Faisal Sabzwari, Engineer Khurram Dastgir, Jalil Abbas Jilani, and Tehmina Janjua.
He remarked that they all stood for Pakistan’s position with “tremendous national spirit,” in the US, UK, and Europe. “The delegation gave the events starting from Pahalgam incident to the Indus Waters Treaty in an accurate perspective.”
He also stated that “by the grace of Allah Almighty, the prayers of the nation and the military might of our valiant armed forces, India had to pay a heavy price for its ungrounded war hysteria.”
He expressed gratitude for budget preparation assistance to coalition partners, particularly the PPP. The PM said that he hoped that the government would address both domestic and foreign issues with ongoing help.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Advisor Rana Sanaullah, and Special Assistants Talha Burki and Tariq Fatemi were among the guests.
