This year, Emirates will install a robotic check-in system in airports. According to an Emirates representative, the technology, called Sara, will speak at least six languages and assist with everything from check-in to hotel reservations. The automated check-in system was created by Emirates in association with its partners and was entirely made in the country. During the next two years, more than 200 of these devices will be operational in airports all throughout the city, according to Redha.

“The needs of travelers keep growing,” said Ade Redha. “However, the airport is the same. We aim to serve our customers better with technology.”

The statement was made on Thursday outside of the “FORSA TEK” showcase event, which the Emirates Group had prepared to highlight the most recent significant advancements in technology and sustainability in the aviation and tourist sectors.

The Emirates Group and its partners present a range of innovations at “FORSA TEK,” an interactive market, with the participation of startups from the “Intelak” and “Aviation X Lab” platforms as well as a select group of industry experts. These innovations include robotics, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and other technologies that will lead the future of travel.
