Azizi stated, “We are now officially working on what will be the second-tallest building globally. This project signifies a landmark achievement for Azizi Developments.” He attributed their success to his father, Mirwais Azizi, who established the company in Afghanistan with a modest $500 in 1989.

Although the specific location and exact height of the new tower along Sheikh Zayed Road have not yet been disclosed, expectations are high that it will rival renowned skyscrapers such as the iconic Burj Khalifa, which currently holds the title of the world’s tallest building. The project’s blueprint was revealed in November of the previous year, and there are indications that it may even surpass the heights of Malaysia’s Merdeka 118 (2,227.3 feet) and China’s Shanghai Tower (2,073.4 feet).

Regarding the name of the upcoming tower, it is currently under consideration and will eventually embody the Azizi Developments brand.
