An exciting announcement was recently made by Chairman CPEC Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa on his official Twitter account.
The chairman announced a 3-month CPEC internship program for 2020. The program has specifically been developed for the youth of Pakistan so that the youngsters can develop new skills and gain experiences.
“It is an inclusive and national project that will prove as an engine of growth for the country” – Chairman CPEC Authority Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa said in his tweet on Saturday.

He continued:

CPEC Internship Program 2020 Eligibility
To be eligible for the internship, all candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must be of Pakistani national
- Under 30 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, Bachelors degree in any discipline can apply
- No experience necessary; only highly motivated and curious individuals (Fresh graduate with no experience can also use)
- Proper research, writing, and digital media skills
CPEC Internship Program Application Process
Candidates can apply for the internship by visiting www.cpecauthority.gov.pk. You can also fill out a Google form by clicking here.
During the first round, the candidates will be shortlisted based on their CVs. In the second round, the shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit a written (500-600 words) essay or a video essay.
CPEC Internship Program 2020 Duration
Applications have opened.
The internship will be conducted from October 2020 – December 2020.
Candidates belonging to a religious, ethnic, or racial minority, including women, are encouraged to apply.
