Coca-Cola has made the headlines once again with its One Brand Strategy. Coca-Cola updates Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola diet designs to align them with Coca-Cola’s zero sugar design packaging. The One Brand Strategy was originally launched in 2016, which was a move designed to encourage customers to try other variants. The company states that “the strategy has become integral to our approach to marketing across the Coca-Cola trademark.

The redesign is consistent throughout the global market and is set to launch in 2021. A spokesperson from Coca-Cola stated that;

“In unifying and simplifying the design system across all three variants. We can extend the iconicity of our logo and brand to our no-sugar drinks and more so encouraging consumers to try Coca-Cola Zero Sugar or Diet Coke.”

The design is now a simple one, however, features the brand’s classic red across all varieties, with each logo now present on the label’s top.

Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Leads The Marketing Strategy

Coca-Cola recently changed its recipe of Coca-Cola zero sugar. So that they can match its taste with the original version is the first one to lead the design update. After the new Coca-Cola zero sugar packaging, the same packaging design will be introduced in other flavors.

“We have continued to innovate to develop this recipe further and are excited to bring the latest recipe to market. However, we believe it will be popular with the existing Coca-Cola Zero Sugar fanbase, as well as with Coca-Cola Original Taste drinkers who are seeking a no-sugar option.”
