The blessed month of Ramadan is nearing its end but the spirit of giving is still alive.

After the huge success of their ‘Bottle of Change’ campaign last year, Coca-Cola is all set to raise the bar this year by launching Pakistan’s first ever Digital Donation Drive called Digithon.

By joining forces with the Edhi Foundation, Coca-Cola Pakistan aims to encourage the people of Pakistan to support and donate to Edhi’s cause.

Taking Telethon Culture to Digital with Digithon

Coca-Cola will kickstart the ground-breaking fundraising campaign LIVE on its Facebook page today on 5th June from 4-6 pm.

People from all over Pakistan can tune in live on the Coca-Cola Facebook page where they will take pledges and donations over calls and SMS for the Edhi Foundation.

The renowned individuals who were part of Coca-Cola’s heart-warming rendition of ‘Lab pe Aati hai dua’ TVC will also be part of the Digithon including Younis Khan, Maya Ali, Momina Mustehsan, Ahad Raza Mir and Ali Rehman. Faisal and Bilquis Edhi – the wife and son of Abdul Sattar Edhi – will be joining in too.

Together, they aim to reach millions of Pakistanis and receive the maximum number of pledges and donations to continue the efforts of the late Edhi Sahab.

Callers and online users will also have the opportunity to interact with their favorite celebrities and ask them questions using the hashtag #ForEdhi via social media.

A digital donation campaign like Digithon is the first of its kind in Pakistan. Earlier, the brand had also rolled out an innovative concept of recycling the iconic Coca-Cola bottle as a money bank to collect donations.
