Major brands are working across the world in various ways to help the society amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Coca-Cola announced a collaboration with a star-studded lineup of top musicians, actors, artists and entertainers.
The stars will unite virtually this weekend for “One World: Together At Home”, it is being organised by Coca-Cola in collaboration with Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation (WHO) to support and celebrate the nurses, doctors and other health care workers in this fight against COVID-19.
Coca-Cola’s SVP and Chief Communications Officer, Bea Perez mentions in a statement regarding this ground-breaking one of a kind event,
“The Coca-Cola Company’s purpose to refresh the world and make a difference has never been more important or more relevant. Through valued partners like Global Citizen, we are able to share our purpose in a meaningful way that encourages solidarity and strength. During these unprecedented times when we cannot be together in person, it’s even more important to come together virtually to help minimise the spread of COVID-19 by pledging to stay at home. We’re proud to be part of such a groundbreaking event.”
Celebrities from all over the globe will be joining together for the One World Together at Home. Bollywood’s Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas will also be present for the star studded event.

Coca-Cola will be supporting the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO to help equip the front-liners from around the globe with masks, gowns and other protective gear and will also be helping local charities who are providing food, shelter and healthcare to the needy during this crucial time.
