Coronavirus has become a global pandemic spreading rapidly through all the countries. With more than 225,000 people affected due to the virus bad news is all that we see on our social media accounts and on TV. A number of countries have initiated self-distancing and lockdowns have also been put into effect restricting movement in order to curb the spread.
In order to raise awareness and encourage more people to stay at home and remain quarantined, celebrities have taken up a fun #StayAtHomeChallenge. This initiative is sure to motivate their fans and followers world-wide to become a part of this ‘new’ trend and will create the social distance needed to limit the spread of COVID-19.
The challenge initially was to have the person taking the challenge wash their hands and then play football with a tissue roll but has now evolved and everyone is doing something different yet entertaining! From footballers to cricketers, singers and actors lots of celebrities have taken it up on themselves to become part of this trending new challenge.

So I talked to some doctors and scientists. It’s not the easiest for everyone right now but the kindest/healthiest thing we can do is self-quarantine and not hang out with people over 65 and in large groups. I wish I could see my parents and grandmas right now but it’s much safer to not so I don’t get them sick in case I have it. I’m hanging at home with my dogs. I love you world, we’ll all get through this. Trust me, I talked to God —she said we’re gonna be ok.
If you’re not listening to the Man himself, what are you doing then?
Stay at home as much as possible. Listen to the experts, ignore the morons (foreheads). We will get through this together. pic.twitter.com/FRg41QehuB

Popular comedian speaking his heart out, forcing people to practice quarantining themselves for precautionary measures!
People get upset and annoyed at me when I tweet about the coronavirus, when I urge people to stay in and avoid crowds. My favorite person in the world is immunocompromised. Go ahead and unfollow me. I’ll be tweeting about this until I’m down to zero followers.

President Barack Obama tells it with facts!
Watch this. It shows why we should all do the right thing and stay home to the fullest extent possible. All of us can help slow the spread of the virus, protecting the elderly, the vulnerable, and each other. https://t.co/FgffQrMVB7
