The app that started as a transports service, Careem has now made a universe of its own by providing a multitude of options to the consumers. The Super App that also keeps itself on top of everything trendy and starts conversations with their engaging promotional messages has hired a new Director Marketing for the Pakistani market. Haris Javed is taking that position up.

Who is Haris Javed?

Haris Javed gained his degree in Economics. He did his MBA from LUMS as well as executive education from INSEAD. His track record speaks of the experience he holds and what he will bring to Careem’s Marketing department.

Royal Bank of Scotland Business, Coca Cola Company, Telenor, and Jazz are just a few examples that show how versatile his experience is. It shows how capable he is that he has worked in banking, FMCGs, and telecommunication companies.

The newly appointed marketing director said:

His position involved leading the marketing team. It will be a challenge because Careem needs to establish itself as the Super App. They need to create stronger awareness campaigns as Careem is still being utilized as a ride-hailing service with which it started. The new services they need to make their consumers realize are food, delivery, and payments.
