Zara Airways is now this new Canadian airline that has started flights from Canada straight to Pakistan. Usually, such flights have many layovers in different countries and you have to face the hassle of switching planes, going through security, etc.

The direct flight from Canada to Pakistan is almost 17 hours and 14 minutes. However, flight times are always varying because of weather conditions, flight path, and changes in the air levels. Zara Airways will introduce direct flights from Toronto to three key cities in Pakistan, namely Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. The airline plans to operate three weekly flights initially, using two Boeing 777 aircraft. The fleet size may be expanded in response to demand. To ensure efficient ground services and personnel, Zara Airways has formed a partnership with Shaheen Airport Services.

Before commencing operations, Zara Airways is currently in the process of securing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Canadian government. During a press conference held in Karachi, Faqir Bawar Hussain Bhakari, a Pakistani-Canadian entrepreneur and the founder of Zara Airways, expressed great his enthusiasm and excitement for this project. He highlighted the enhanced convenience and accessibility these flights would offer for travel between Canada and Pakistan.

The CEO of Zara Airways, Syed Qali, emphasized that the flights would cater to a diverse range of passengers, including Pakistani residents in Canada and tourists visiting Pakistan. Discussions are also underway with Air Canada to explore potential codesharing agreements on select flights, providing passengers with additional travel options.
