The writer of this article knows of a few who have recently finished their Masters from this university. So, what have the Alumni come up with? It is a bike service! It has been altered to be made specifically for students.
A New Service:
The alumni have developed a new bike-sharing service, featuring electric bikes! They can access the bikes and drive them within the premises of the University. Due to geo-fencing technology, however, they cannot move outside the premises. The charges for using the bike are just Rs.5 per minute. This seems reasonable, considering it won’t take too long to move from one location to another.
The ministry of IT supports the project due to its prospect and range. It has a wide scope and is definitely worth an investment. If it can move towards other institutions with vast areas, it’ll be extremely useful and widely accepted. The service features state-of-the-art technology embedded within the vehicles, with a simple yet elegant design.

The launch of this new service shows promise about something. It shows promise about what the future holds. Pakistan is moving forward at a brisk pace as we enter into 2021.
