Gamers all across the world can now enjoy sharper resolution, faster frame rates, and ray tracing thanks to the Xbox Series X and Series S, which have been available for more than a year. These next Xbox Series X games aim to keep showcasing all those bells and whistles in entertaining, brand-new experiences.

If you’re curious about the games Microsoft has confirmed thus far, including brand-new releases, sequels to current franchises, and ports of old games, read on. We’re considering all the fantastic titles coming to this potent new gaming hardware in this article, going beyond the first-party endeavors.

  1. Sonic Frontier – November 9th 2022

Sonic’s upcoming 3D adventure, Sonic Frontiers, will take place in an open environment, but don’t immediately call it a Breath of the Wild imitation. Considering his history in 3D games, the swift blue hedgehog seems like a logical match for this, but we are still only cautiously enthusiastic.

  1. The Calisto Protocol – December 2nd 2022

The Callisto Protocol, the spiritual descendant of the original Dead Space crew, is giving them an advantage over the competition before the Dead Space remake debuts. With a fresh narrative set in the year 2320 on the same-named moon of Jupiter, this third-person survival horror game promises to be as harsh as the series it was modeled after. In this game, you are besieged by unsettling monsters within the Black Iron Prison.

  1. Marvel’s midnight suns – December 2nd 2022

With a co-operation no one anticipated, the Marvel train keeps rolling. With the rather specialized Midnight Suns, Firaxis, the developers of the phenomenally successful XCOM and XCOM 2 remakes, is attempting to get the Marvel license. This game will be less harsh than their previous entries in that genre by taking inspiration from their tactical, turn-based games.

  1. Dead space – January 27th 2023

The Dead Space reboot is starting the year with this impressive-looking title whether The Callisto Protocol isn’t your thing or you simply can’t get enough third-person, sci-fi survival horror. The developers of this game completely overhauled the original horror game while leaving the fundamental structure and mechanics unaltered.

  1. Hogwart’s Legacy – February 10th 2023

The long-rumored Harry Potter open-world game is now available, and it has a name. Obviously, Hogwarts Legacy takes place in the Harry Potter universe, but new developer Portkey Games seems to be rewriting the narrative. Hogwarts Legacy is coming on Series X despite though it was revealed during Sony’s September PS5 event.

  1. Redfall – Q2 2023

New and engaging gameplay mechanics are featured in Arkane Austin’s most recent game. This will be a co-op-focused shooter with an open-world setting called Redfall where players are let wild on an island overrun with vampires. You are continuously in danger as a human since the sun has been shut out, creating a situation identical to that of 30 Days of Night.

  1. Suicide Squad – Kill The Justice League –TBD 2023

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is Rocksteady’s current project; Gotham Knights is on hold while it is being developed. One of the few definite next-generation exclusives, it will finally appear on Series X in the early 2023 time frame following multiple delays. Although we don’t know much about the game yet, we do know that it is set in an open-world Metropolis and takes place in the Batman: Arkham universe.
