Balochistan Minister Launches Free Distribution of Textbooks

Balochistan’s Minister for Education, Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, announced the timely distribution of textbooks for the 2025 academic year. Doing so, she emphasised the provincial government’s commitment to improving education. The initiative follows directives from Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and aims to enhance school operations across Balochistan. Durrani made these remarks at the inaugural meeting for the distribution of free textbooks, organised by the Balochistan Textbook Board in Quetta.

Durrani praised the efforts of the Balochistan Textbook Board, particularly Chairman Dr. Gulab Khan Khilji and the team involved. She highlighted that the timely distribution would support a more efficient learning process for students.

The Minister also recognised the Textbook Board’s role in curriculum development and research. She noted that the mechanism for timely textbook delivery at the district and union council levels had been effective, ensuring that books were available ahead of schedule. Durrani expressed her commitment to providing students in Balochistan with a modern and updated curriculum.
