Indian rapper and singer Badshah recently took to Instagram Stories to answer some fan questions. When asked who his favorite person from Pakistan is, Badshah revealed that it’s none other than the legendary, Nazia Hassan. Badshah’s answer left everyone in utter shock because it was assumed the answer was Hania.

Nazia Hassan’s Biggest Fan

Badshah replied by posting a picture of the “Boom Boom” singer on his Instagram Story, alongside the question. He captioned it, “Quite a few but she’d always be the most favorite.” This makes us wonder just how many classic Pakistani pop hits Badshah is secretly jamming to on his headphones. Regardless, we are proud to see our music take over other countries.

Badshah and Nazia Hassan

This surprising fans of both the rapper and the pop singer were thrilled by this revelation, flooding the comments section of news reports. “The queen of pop music,” one Instagram user commented. Another wrote, “Nazia Hassan the legend, our childhood queen.” One user even noted that Nazia was “beloved all over the world.”

Are Badshah And Hania Just Friends

Another Pakistani celebrity Badshah has publicly praised is actress Hania Aamir. Their frequent interactions fueled dating rumors among both Pakistani and Indian fans. Especially after Hania extended warm birthday wishes to Badshah on her Instagram Story. Since then, the two have been spotted hanging out in Dubai multiple times.

Despite her clarification from Hania herself, that their relationship is merely platonic, fans couldn’t help but notice that Badshah did not name Hania as his favorite person from Pakistan. This led to playful comments like “Hania Aamir crying in the corner,” and “Hania must be jealous.”

All and all we’re just happy to see Pakistani singers and actors getting the recognition they deserve. Nazia Hassan is truly someone worth having as a favorite. Moreover, for all we know, this may be a hint for a future collab!
