Australian Test spinner Nathan Lyon recently praised former Pakistan captain Babar Azam highly, hailing him as ‘the best batter in the world.’

Lyon, who has faced Babar Azam numerous times, lauded the former Pakistan skipper for being both a delight to play against and an imposing challenge for bowlers.

“Babar Azam has been a pleasure to play against, but he’s also been a massive challenge,” Lyon expressed. “He’s one of the best batters globally, especially when it comes to facing spin. He’s a class player and performs exceptionally well against all kinds of bowling,” he added.
