Apple enthusiasts, prepare yourselves; another phone is about to be released! According to reports, the Apple iPhone 17 is set to launch in the market in September 2025, and months before its release, it is already making headlines.
The upcoming Apple iPhone 17 series includes iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, and a new iPhone 17 Air. The launch of iPhone 17 Air marks a deviation from Appleโs existing smartphone lineups, which feature a Plus variant.
This time, the iPhones will have a lot more interesting and awaited features. One of them is 120Hz ProMotion displays and LTPO OLED technology, which now will be part of all the models.
Earlier, only higher-end models contained these features, signalling Appleโs move to democratise a premium experience across its entire lineup.

About the Design
There have been some significant changes in the iPhone 17 design according to the leaked images. The iPhone 17 Air dummy models have revealed that the phone will be the slimmest model of the series, marking Appleโs entry into the โultra-slimโ smartphone market.
The Pro and Pro Max versions will feature the same camera setups. A key highlight of the design is that Apple may reintroduce aluminium bodies for all iPhones, excluding the Air model.
Reports suggest that the Air version may come with a Titanium-Aluminium hybrid body.
About the Cameraย
The camera is perhaps the feature that has undergone the most change in the new Apple iPhone 17 series. The leaked images show a shift from the current squircle camera bump to a rectangular, aluminium-encased module.
This is a major change in the camera design and might result in better protection of the device.
The camera itself is also getting upgraded. All photography enthusiasts will be pleased with the new Apple iPhone 17 camera. The front-facing camera is reported to be upgraded from 12MP to 24MP, providing clearer selfies and better video calls.
The rear camera is also receiving important improvements. These include the 48MP tetraprism telephoto lens, which would offer advanced zoom capabilities in the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

About the Chipset
In regards to the chipset, the iPhone 17 and 17 Air are going to feature Apple’s new A19 chip, while the Pro models will likely use the more powerful A19 Pro chipset. Reports also indicated a potential upgrade to the RAM.
Apple may increase 12 GB RAM in at least three models, which is a significant jump over the 8GB in the current select models.
About the Priceย
The price for the Apple iPhone 17 is still not revealed, however, it will follow the same structure, with the pro models costing more and the standard model costing less. The Air model, however, will be positioned at an affordable price.
