Peshawar Zalmi secured a convincing seven-wicket victory. They defeated Multan Sultans in PSL 10’s 25th match. The game was held at Multan Cricket Stadium on Monday. Sultans batted first but struggled. Zalmi’s bowling attack was disciplined. Multan was bowled out for just 108 runs in 19.1 overs. Shai Hope resisted with a cautious 23. Tayyab Tahir added a quick 22. Other batsmen failed to make significant scores. Skipper Rizwan scored 17.

Daniyal Spearheads Impressive Zalmi Attack
Ahmed Daniyal led Zalmi’s exceptional bowling. He claimed 3 wickets for just 17 runs in four overs. Maaz Sadaqat and Luke Wood each took two wickets. Ali Raza, Saim Ayub, and Alzarri Joseph each contributed a wicket. It was a strong collective bowling effort from Zalmi.
Chasing a modest 109, Zalmi batted with intent. Saim Ayub anchored the chase. He scored a fluent 49 off 33 balls. His innings included four boundaries and three sixes. Max Bryant provided excellent middle-order support. He remained unbeaten on 38 off 20 deliveries. He hit five fours and a six. Zalmi reached the target comfortably. They had 42 balls to spare. Shahid Aziz took two wickets for the Sultans. David Willey claimed one wicket.
Playoff Race Intensifies
Despite this win, Zalmi remain fifth in the PSL 10 standings. They have eight points from eight matches. However, they are now closer to Lahore Qalandars. Lahore is fourth with nine points from nine games.

Gladiators Lead, Sultans Struggle at Bottom
Quetta Gladiators still lead the PSL 10 table. They have 11 points from eight matches. Defending champions Islamabad United are close behind. They have 10 points from eight matches. Karachi Kings also have 10 points. Multan Sultans’ struggles continue. They are at the bottom with only two points. They have played nine matches and are out of playoff contention.
