The Vienna Peace Museum launched the ‘Peace Heroes’ in 2014 where they feature personalities from both historic and modern times.

This year’s list for the 2017 edition, the museum has announced Abdul Sattar Edhi, Malala Yousafzai, and Bacha Khan as part of the prominent peace heroes.

It is great to see the world appreciating the efforts Edhi put in towards humanity.

As the founder of the Edhi Foundation, Pakistan will remain forever to Edhi ‘Sahab’ for his endless services to the nation.

The Museum announced Abdul Sattar Edhi’s inclusion in the Peace Heroes list through the official Twitter and Facebook account.

Edhi Was Nominated several times for the Nobel Peace Prize

The Vienna Peace Museum also includes Bacha Khan, Pashtun independence activist. He is known as the ‘Pakistani nonviolent activist and the founder of ‘Servants of God’ movement.

Malala Yousafzai is also included in the list for her unwavering services to humanity and peace globally.  The rest of the list features leaders and renown names such as Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Kofi Anan among many other historically significant personalities.
