Karachi and other places to have bridges

A city like Karachi requires a planned-out, strategic infrastructure to accommodate the increasing population. It requires the construction of certain architectures that would ease the flow of traffic within. Bridges can be considered as an engineering marvel, as they are used to open up the flow of traffic in a place or provide easy commute to an inaccessible location. That said, there are places in Karachi where building bridges can be useful, as it would ease off the flow of traffic in the region.

The presence of a bridge in certain regions can even help traffic divert in ways that we did not think could be possible. Additionally, building certain flyovers above existing bridges can ease the traffic density even more. Let us take a look at which places in Karachi would benefit from such construction.

1. Dalmia Road to Rashid Minhas Road

Dalmia road sees its fair share of traffic when merging Rashid Minhas road. If there were a bridge that directly connects Dalmia road to Rashid Minhas bridge, it would be of great significance. It might disrupt traffic during construction but it can certainly be beneficial for the area since it is prone to heavy traffic daily.

2. Bridges From I.I Chundrigar Road To Places

I.I Chundrigar road sees quite a lot of traffic on a daily basis and it would help the place to have bridges going to selective areas of Karachi. It can certainly thin out the flow of traffic after dusk in the location, setting people reach their destinations on time.

3. Gulzar-e-Hijri To Maskan

Gulzar-e-Hijri can feel like a hard place to reach if you have to go through Maskan or University road. There is a bridge connecting Maskan to University road but we require one connecting Maskan to Gulzar-e-Hijri. If that were to happen, it would thin out the traffic at Maskan accumulating every day.

4. Bridges Across M.A Jinnah Road

M.A Jinnah Road is one of the busiest roads of Karachi, and it can be quite tedious to cross in a car during rush hours. Cars moving across the road when traffic is flowing can cause quite a traffic jam at times. Thus, the road would benefit from bridges going across the road, connecting Saddar with Numaish directly.

Not only would these locations benefit from a bridge or a flyover, but they would certainly feel more sound in terms of infrastructure.
