Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has come forward with an interesting suggestion to host the remaining Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 matches in Bangladesh.
Following directives from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the PCB suspended the remaining eight matches, citing concerns over India’s “reckless aggression” and rising regional tensions.
There were reports about PCB hosting the remaining matches in Dubai, however, Basit Ali made a strong case for Bangladesh to host future PSL matches if regional issues persist.

“If future tournaments face similar disruptions, please don’t move them to Dubai. Consider Bangladesh,” he said. “Their stadiums are always packed—even for club matches. It’s a nation full of cricket lovers.”

- Advised local players to be on standby
- Started efforts to gather teams in Islamabad
