Suzuki Pakistan has created a buzz on social media with a new teaser ahead of the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2025.
In a recent post on its official Facebook page, the automaker shared a short video showing a covered vehicle with headlights glowing through the fabric, hinting at an upcoming reveal. The caption read:
“Where innovation meets the spotlight. At PAPS 2025.” It concluded with another line: “For the first time, excellence takes shape at PAPS.”
Suzuki’s official website also features a similar teaser showing a car wrapped in black, its headlights shining beneath the cover, with the same tagline.
Suzuki’s New Car: What’s Hiding Under the Wrap?
Suzuki has not revealed which model it plans to showcase, keeping fans guessing. Many believe the upcoming vehicle could be the Suzuki Fronx, while others think it might mark the return of the Vitara, a compact SUV previously sold in Pakistan.
Industry reports suggest Suzuki may be preparing to launch a locally assembled Fronx, which would be the company’s first locally produced crossover SUV. The teaser’s silhouette and headlight design also match the Fronx, adding weight to the speculation.
If introduced, the Fronx would compete in the subcompact crossover segment against models like the Kia Stonic.
The international Fronx features a 1.5L mild-hybrid engine producing about 102 horsepower and 137 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission.
It offers features such as a head-up display, wireless charger, digital climate control, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay support. Safety equipment includes six airbags, hill-hold assist, traction control, and a 360-degree camera.
Specifications for the Pakistani version may differ based on local market requirements.
When and Where to Watch the Reveal?
The big reveal is expected at PAPS 2025, taking place from November 14 to 16, 2025, at the Karachi Expo Centre.
The event, organised by the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM), will host automakers, vendors, and aftermarket brands showcasing the latest automotive innovations.
