What Did Khalil Ur Rehman Do?
The writer of Mere Paas Tum Ho randomly decided to take a screenshot of Mahira Khan’s own post and put it up on Twitter. Mahira Khan had put up a picture of herself whilst she was acting in a drama written by Khalil Ur Rehman. She was playing the role of ‘shano’ in “Sadqay Tumhare”. Have a look at the picture here:

The writer took the picture and tweeted about how he will always curse himself for casting her in this “sacred role”. This is also not the first time he has expressed these sentiments. Khalil Ur Rehman is vehemently against Mahira Khan now and hates the fact that she acted in a drama based on his own life. Have a look at his tweet:

Why The Rivalry?
Mahira Khan has not yet responded to this hateful tweet and we have a feeling she also will not. However, what could explain the rivalry is Mahira Khan and also his male-lead actor, Adnan Malik’s opposition to the writer. People are actually bashing Khalil Ur Rehman for this tweet. One has to say, people should keep their personal opinions and viewpoints away from their professional ones. To throw dirt on an actress whom you share the industry with, who has also worked for you at a point, is simply in bad faith and disrespectful.
