With mercury levels soaring high in Karachi, citizens are likely to get brief relief from the blazing heat in the upcoming days.
A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country. According to various weather updates, a strong rain bearing system is all set to affect various parts of Pakistan, including Balochistan, lower Sindh including Karachi.
Director Pakistan Metrological Department, Sardar Sarfraz revealed that due to lesser pressure of western air, rain in different areas of Karachi and inner Sindh are likely to occur.
Chances of rainfall are between April 14 to April 16.
Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds are likely to occur at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan while at isolated places in Punjab, Quetta, Kalat, Zhob, Sibbi divisions, and Islamabad in the next 24 hours.
